TRANSIT-EXPRESS Marine Agency has a large database of seafarers and service staff (more than 4000 people) of different positions with work experience on BC, TSH, CSH, RO-RO, Cont, different types of Tugs and Cruise Ships, with good knowledge of English.
Direct contracts with marine training centers and maritime schools in Ukraine allow TRANSIT-EXPRESS to determine areas of possible improvement, thus contributing continuous improvement in the qualifications of the vessel's staff and taking into consideration their performance evaluation as well.
All our officers are attending training courses, organized by training institutes in Ukraine, such as the Odessa Maritime Academy, Sevastopol Maritime Institute and others. Training is given on topics such as specialized tanker courses, bridge resources management, simulator based on manoeuvring, computer courses covering all aspects of the soft and hardware installed on board etc.
Training courses are organized by maritime training institutes to meet vessel's requirements. The great emphasis is put on English Language Training courses for all ranks, especially for ratings.
Officers: special safety training courses are to be undertaken through reputed organizations. All officers are fully certified to STCW'95 standards. Subsidiary courses are organized to permit officers to be updated in changing technology.
Ratings: are in possession of all STCW-certificates, such as watch keeping, fire fighting, survival, elementary first aid and tanker's safety and familiarization.

Above advanced education of seafarers allow TRANSIT-EXPRESS to be sure that vessels of ship-owners will be supplied by specialists from agency's pool and graduates from Maritime Academies, who are well- trained and high-qualified.
